Roles In The Christian Home

Most of the problems we see and the disorder we experience in our society can be attributed to the failure of individuals, even many Christians, to fulfill the roles that God ordained for the Christian home.

It takes strong Christian individuals to build strong marriages. It takes strong Christian marriages to build strong Christian families. And it takes strong Christian families to build strong congregations that function according to God’s design.

Each person has an important responsibility in this design. Husbands and Fathers must be spiritual leaders of the household, love their wives, and train their children. Wives and Mothers must voluntarily submit to their husbands and love/train their children. Children must respectfully obey their parents. This is what God requires and He gave this design to provide peace and order.
